Our Story
Over seven generations dedicated to olive growing.
A story of family, effort, and respect for the land.
1850
It all started long before Olvero.
Our story did not begin with a brand, but with a family. In the mid-19th century, our great-grandmother Elena García Morón inherited her father Juan Manuel García’s olive oil mill. Since then, the olive grove has been part of our lives generation after generation.

The Man Who Grew a Legacy
For much of the 20th century, our grandfather Ángel García Morón dedicated his life to caring for and growing the family legacy. Under his impetus, the oil mill was modernized, the olive grove continued to expand, and many families in Arjonilla found a way of life in it.
But, above all, he passed on something much more important to us: that the olive grove is not just a crop, but a responsibility to the land and to the generations to come.

The Call That Changed Everything
Shortly after our grandfather Angel's death, José Luis inherited a small olive grove. When the first harvest arrived, he took his olives to one of the most renowned oil mills in Jaén.
That same night he received an unexpected call: his oil was extraordinary.
Those words moved him deeply. The next day he decided to bottle it as a tribute to his father and share it with family and friends.
Unbeknownst to him, he had just taken the first step towards Olvero.

How Olvero Was Born
While studying design in Madrid, Miguel realized that this olive oil deserved its own identity. Thus Olvero was born, a name that combines Olivo (olive tree) and Envero (veraison), the moment when the olive reaches the perfect balance to produce an exceptional oil.
Little by little, the project grew. Mercedes took over management, José Luis began making his own oil, and Olvero started reaching more homes.
All with the same idea: to share the best olive oil we knew how to make.

The Legacy Lives On
Today, Olvero remains a family project. José Luis continues to guide the cultivation and production of the oil, sharing a lifetime of experience with Juan, who has returned to Arjonilla to continue this legacy.
Meanwhile, Miguel continues to build the brand and tell our story.
Seven generations later, we continue to do things the way we've always believed they should be done: with respect for the land, for people, and for the oil that reaches your table.
We didn't inherit a business.
We inherited a way of understanding olive groves.
